Reflective glass is manufactured by applying a metallic coating on one side of normal glass so that the glass reflects sunlight and reduces to a large extent the heat transmitted through it, making it ideal for air conditioned buildings. Apart from cutting down heat gain and glare, reflective glass gives an aesthetic mirror like appearance to building during day time, yet allows external light to enter inside.
